Yes. The playable beta is free to enter and runs in your browser, with no game download required.

Is this a shared, persistent world?

Yes. You play alongside other players, and your character progression is saved between sessions. The game is in beta and continues to change as it develops.

What should I do first?

Start in protected Hearthwall, follow the introduction, and get familiar with gathering, equipment, and banking before venturing deeper. The player guide covers your first steps.
